The focus of the course of study is to teach application-oriented knowledge in Lingistic, Literary, Cultural and Economic Studies, whereby the main focus of the philological subjects is placed upon more modern forms of language. In the context of linguistics, this means, for instance, that greater emphasis is placed on textual and conversational linguistics, corpus, socio- and pragmatic linguistics. In Literary Studies, the focus is primarily on texts from the 19th and 20th century. Linguistic practice counts for 25% of the course content and is oriented primarily towards practical issues in professional life.
