Annotation

Insect Biotechnology focuses on insects as well as insect-associated micro- and macro-organisms as newly emerging bioresources for medicine, crop protection, pharmacy, industrial food production and biotechnology. Students explore the systematics and ecology of insects.

Admission requirements

Admission requirement is a relevant Bachelor's degree. Bachelor’s degrees in Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry and Food Chemistry are considered relevant. The Examination Board may recognise other courses as equivalent in the context of the application and admission procedure after a case-by-case examination.

Proof of language proficiency (English C1) is required.
