In the minor subject of Social and Cultural Anthropology, you will learn to identify basic forms and dimensions of social coexistence and to analyse and distinguish their fundamentals. You can also research the causes, dynamics, interpretations and forms of conflict and deal with the interactions of human-environment relationships and their transformations. In the subject's own ethnographic collection, practical work is conducted on and with objects and their social and cultural meanings are discussed. Regionally, you have the opportunity to focus on societies of the Americas and the Caribbean.

An integral part of the degree course is the MarSkills programme, in which you acquire attractive and future-oriented key skills (see ).
