Admission requirements

1) A certificate of academic degree for a Bachelor’s degree course in African Verbal and Visual Arts: Languages, Literatures, Media and Art or a Bachelor’s degree course in African Studies: Language, Arts, Philosophy at the University of Bayreuth or an equivalent academic degree;
2) proof of German language proficiency of at least level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for applicants who have neither obtained their higher education entrance qualification nor the first degree granting access to the degree programme in German.
3) proof of English language proficiency of at least level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for applicants who have neither obtained their higher education entrance qualification nor the first degree granting access to the degree programme in English.
