Am Anfang jeder Maschine, jedes Geräts und jedes Prozesses steht eine Idee, die umgesetzt werden möchte. Über die Berechnung und Konstruktion nimmt diese schrittweise Form an, bis schließlich das endgültige Produkt fertig ist. Genau diesen Weg von der Idee zur funktionstüchtigen Maschine gestalten Maschinenbauingenieur*innen. Dabei sind sowohl Teamarbeit als auch technische, analytische und kreative Aufgaben von Bedeutung – und der Blick auf ökologische und ökonomische Aspekte.
