In the part-time model, the standard period of study is 8 semesters.

Courses in the full-time model: on weekdays during the day, in person and online; in the part-time model: Two evenings during the week and a maximum of 10 Saturdays per semester, 100% online. During the course, the time model can be changed.

Admission requirements

General higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences OR successful participation in state-certified further training, for example as a master craftsperson, technician, business economist or business administrator OR completed vocational training and subsequent professional experience lasting at least three years and proof of the ability to study for this course from an entrance test or further options in accordance with the HmbHG (Hamburg Higher Education Act).

In addition, there is a one-time final examination fee of EUR 500 for the degree examination. At the beginning of each semester, full-time students must also pay the fees for the semester ticket established by the Hamburg Public Transport Association(HVV) (as of Summer semester 2026: approximately EUR 208.80 per semester).
