Ergotherapy helps people to lead self-determined lives and maintain their ability to act. The profession is aimed at supporting people with physical, mental, cognitive or developmental limitations – from childhood to old age.
Ergotherapy focuses on the individual and their unique needs: whether this involves independently dressing, cooking, writing or participating in social life. The aim is to maintain, promote or restore individuals’ ability to act, thereby improving their quality of life and social participation.
⸻
