The accredited and state-recognised Master’s degree programme in Social Work (MA) qualifies future specialists and leaders in the social and healthcare sectors. The programme combines scientific rigour with practical, interdisciplinary training and offers excellent career and doctoral opportunities.
At MSB, you study according to a modern blended learning concept that integrates classroom teaching, virtual instruction and guided self-study. A clear, reliable timetable enables you to combine studies, work and personal life while benefiting from individual support by experienced professors and a dedicated student service team.
The programme emphasises psychosocial counselling, systemic and solution-oriented approaches and psychodynamic-interactional pedagogy. Students learn to analyse complex social issues, plan and evaluate interventions and develop sustainable solutions for individuals and communities.
With its strong focus on theory-practice transfer, the programme encourages professional work alongside studies. Owing to the high and growing demand in the field, graduates are qualified for leadership and specialist roles in counselling centres, social and youth services, healthcare institutions, schools and research.
