Annotation
The economic conditions for the social economy have changed significantly. Against this background, proper organisation is more important than ever for social institutions. Only through professional social management can assistance reach the people who need it. Do you want to help shape this important change? Then start your degree programme with vocational and academic elements in Business Administration – specialisation in Social Management. You will not only explore business topics, but also acquire industry-specific knowledge. This includes, for example, medicine, ethics and law. You will apply your theoretical knowledge directly at your industry partner.
In the degree programme with vocational and academic elements at the IU, you will study in one of the following two study models. In the degree programme with vocational and academic elements, lectures take place on two days per week on campus – occasionally also online via live video conference. Students then reinforce what they have learned using the learning materials. The "myStudium" degree programme with vocational and academic elements combines flexible self-study with digital learning formats. You will acquire the theory independently via myCampus – supported by innovative learning materials and Syntea, your personal AI learning assistant.
