Admission requirements

Undergraduate degree in Social Work with a minimum grade of 2.5 and 210 ECTS and 1 year of professional experience in a field of social work relevant to social space development and organisation as well as current employment of 15-30 h/week in a field of social work that is demonstrably aligned with the programme’s content. Alternatively, an academic degree in another, thematically relevant degree programme with 4 years of professional experience in social space development and organisation may be recognised. If applicants only have 180 ECTS, the outstanding 30 ECTS may be recognised through state recognition under a Social Professions Recognition Act, relevant continuing education, etc. If applicable, experience gained prior to the degree programme may also be credited. Applicants who did not obtain their higher education entrance qualification at an institution in a German-speaking country must provide proof of German proficiency at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (DSH-2 or equivalent).
