Admission requirements
Undergraduate degree with a final grade of at least 2.0 in Social Work. This academic degree must either be worth 210 ECTS credits or, in addition to the 180 ECTS credits earned in a Bachelor’s degree course, be supplemented by proof of an additional 30 ECTS credits obtained through university supervision/state recognition.
In addition, applicants must provide proof of at least 15 hours and usually no more than 30 hours of professional experience in a field of social work that is demonstrably related to the content of the Master’s programme.
Applicants who did not obtain their higher education entrance qualification at an institution in a German-speaking country must provide proof of German proficiency at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (DSH-2 or equivalent).
