Admission requirements

In addition to the general admission requirements, proof is required of at least 6 weeks of practical professional experience in the field of the selected degree course, the so-called stage I practical. The placement must be completed before the semester begins. This proof can come from a professional work placement, training in a related subject or professional experience. Details are governed by the work placement guidelines, published on the website.

Lecture period

  • Summer semester 2026: One week before the lecture period, gap courses are held to support the start of studies. The last two weeks of the indicated period are lecture-free as examination period.
  • Winter semester 2025/2026: One week before the lecture period, mathematics bridge courses are held for first-year students in the bachelor's degree courses to support them in starting their studies. The last two weeks of the indicated period are lecture-free as examination period.
