The former public administration building, located right in the city centre of Minden, now offers student accommodation. The students' apartments are on the first and the second floor. There is a direct bus connection to the Johannes-Wessling-Hospital; the campus of the University of Applied Sciences is easy to reach by bus or bike as well as on foot. The building was completely renovated in 2016.

The maximum period of residence is four years.
Exceptions can be made for students who are preparing for their final exams (up to 15 months can be added to the rental period). Based on serious reasons, the rental period may also be extended by an adequate period of time. Applications to extent the rental period must be submitted in writing at least two months prior to the lease expiration date.
