Overview

Our Netzweg residence hall is located on the outskirts of Halle in the well-developed Heide-Nord residential area. The Dölauer Heide recreational area and the Brandberge hills are right next door, offering opportunities for relaxation, outings, and sports.

Because of its location and size, this residence hall is particularly popular with students who are parents.

Rent deposit
Before moving in, the renter has to transfer a deposit in the amount of three times the monthly rent, but no more than 350 EUR.

Duration of housing
The rental agreement is automatically extended by one semester up to a maximal period of six semesters.
After the regular rental period has expired, the rental agreement can be extended for an additional two semesters.
Two months' notice must be given before the rental contract is terminated.

Shared facilities
Bike parking spaces as well as a room with washing machines and dryers are provided in the cellar area. Car parking spaces and a table tennis room in the basement are available.

The nearest supermarket is right across the street and is less than a minute's walk away.

Special deals for international students
In the dormitories run by the Student Administration (Studentenwerk Halle), there are (international students who also live in the dormitories). Their task is to help international fellow students to quickly get accommodated and feel at home.

The "culture tutors" of the International Office are responsible for a for international students at the University of Halle, featuring an international monthly Stammtisch, excursions, cultural evenings, concerts and much more.
