Overview

The residential complex at "Markstraße 105" is very close to the university life. The UniCenter with its numerous restaurants, bakeries and shopping facilities is only a 15-minute walk away. There is also a branch of the city library and numerous copy shops for everyday university needs in the centre.

The hall of residence offers 131 shared apartment rooms, 67 single apartments, as well as three 1.5-room flats. Both apartments and flats are equipped with a kitchen and a sanitary area and rented furnished. Each room has cable television and network access.

There is a direct bus connection to the city centre and university from this student residence. Walking distance to the university is about 20 minutes. Bike rental company Metropolrad Ruhr operates a bike station in front of the building.

The duration of the tenancy is limited to a maximum of ten semesters.
Requests for extensions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Different rules apply to eligible tenants who are not enrolled at a college or university within the Akafö’s jurisdiction.
