The residence has 290 furnished rooms in shared flats. The complex consists of three interconnected buildings and was comprehensively renovated and completely refurnished in 2011. The University is around a kilometre away on foot along the edge of the woods. A bus stop is located directly in front of the student residence. The main campus, the Bismarckstraße campus, the main station and the city centre are just a very short bus ride away.

The rooms have gigabyte Ethernet internet access as standard. All rooms also have a cable TV connection. These costs are already covered by the monthly rent.

Duration of housing
The maximum duration of staying in a student residence is ten semesters. The tenancy agreement can be terminated after the end of the first year of residence at any time with three months' notice. There are special regulations for ex-matriculation (only within the first year of residence) as well as for programme students and guests.
