Overview

The dormitory, which was completely renovated in 2011, is located in the heart of Bonn’s Old Town in a quiet area. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the nearest bus stop (Line 61), and from there it takes only a few minutes to reach downtown, which is also easily accessible on foot or by bike. There are several shopping options in the immediate vicinity of the dormitory.

Rent deposit
Tenants are required to pay a deposit before conclusion of the agreement. This always amounts to one-and-a-half to two monthly rents. The deposit is not subject to payment of interest (in compliance with Section 551 (3) of the German Civil Code (§ 551 Abs. 3 BGB)).

Duration of housing
In order to give as many students as possible a chance to rent inexpensively, rental periods in Studierendenwerk dorms are limited to six semesters. An extension can only be considered in exceptional cases.
