Overview

Our Felsenstraße student residence strikes a balance between a central location (it’s about a 15-minute walk to the city center/market square, or less than 5 minutes by tram) and a setting surrounded by nature: Peißnitz Island and the large park surrounding it are right next door.

The residence hall is primarily home to students from the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, as both of the university’s campuses are within easy walking distance. In the residence hall, you’ll live in single apartments with private kitchens and bathrooms, one accessible apartment, and five double apartments, which we prioritize for students with children.
