Overview

Today's student residence was built as a private clinic by the Jewish neurologist Professor Unger in 1905. After he was banned from practising his profession by the Nazis, the house was used by the National Socialist Women's League in 1936. The municipal hospital Moabit moved in later.

Since 1990, student residents can benefit from the generous style of construction of the clinic: The architects Breslauer and Salinger designed the rear building in an angular shape, so that all the rooms and living areas face south-west towards the garden, while the utility services are accommodated in the rear part of the house. The garden front is structured with many balconies and loggias.

Differentiated accommodation types are available in this centrally located and very popular student residence.
