Overview

This housing complex has a convenient location close to the natural sciences institutes of the university in the quarter Endenich near the landscape protection area "Meßdorfer Feld". "Meßdorfer Feld" is ideal for students who like to go jogging or walking.

The student housing complex was built in 1974 and extended in 1995. It offers 102 apartments, 31 single rooms in group accommodation and twelve double apartments. Group accommodation offers modern eat-in kitchens and sanitary facilities.

It takes less than ten minutes by bus to the main building of the university and the inner city. Getting home at night is also no problem thanks to a night bus service.

Rent deposit
Tenants are required to pay a deposit before conclusion of the agreement. This always amounts to one-and-a-half to two monthly rents. The deposit is not subject to payment of interest (in compliance with Section 551 (3) of the German Civil Code (§ 551 Abs. 3 BGB)).

Duration of housing
In order to give as many students as possible a chance to rent inexpensively, rental periods in Studierendenwerk dorms are limited to six semesters. An extension can only be considered in exceptional cases.
