Overview
The residence hall Wilhelmskamp, build in 1965, was renovated in 2006. It is located in a quiet area in north-west Münster, which is still close to the city centre. There are many university institutions nearby, e.g. university sports facilities, the Leonardo-Campus with the art academy, some facilities of the Münster University of Applied Sciences, as well as the university's Institutes of Science and Medicine.The WWU Münster administration office on Schlossplatz 2 is only about 1.5km away.
The social counselling service of the Studierendenwerk, also located in the Wilhelmskamp student residence, will be happy to help and advice. The Mensa Da Vinci is only about 1.3 km away, the Mensa am Ring 1.6 km. You will also find the Viva Campus Café here.

Apartments with more than one room can only be rented jointly by a group of students, willing to share the flat. A rental contract with individual students is only possible for single rooms and single apartments.
Applications from disabled students holding a disabled person’s ID will be given priority. A copy of the disabled person’s ID should be attached to the application.
Students with one or more children may apply for accommodation in the student residence at, Gescherweg 50-64, 48161 Münster as follows:
- a two-room flat = single parent with one or more children
- a three-room flat = couple (both must be students) with one or more children.
Students with children are given priority over groups without children intending to share a flat, while all applications from students with children are processed according to the order in which they are received. A copy of the child’s birth certificate should be attached to the application. In the case of pregnancy a doctor’s certificate verifying the pregnancy should be attached.
