Overview

This residence is located on the Eselsberg near the university. The neighbourhood mainly consists of terraced houses and one-family houses. The residence consists of seven houses offering 507 rooms and underground parking spaces. About 40% of the rooms are doubles (each with two equally sized rooms, a small kitchen, a toilet, sink and shower). Approximately 60% of the rooms are apartments for three to five persons. In addition, there are eight single-apartments, of which two are suitable for disabled students (handicap-accessible). Because of the shortage of parking spaces, tenants can either lease an underground parking slot or agree to bring no vehicle.

In the spring, rooms are usually available until shortly before the start of the summer semester. In autumn, however, it is likely that all rooms have been assigned even before the start of the winter semester. Thus, you may have to wait several weeks to get one. Apartments may have an even longer waiting time.

There are a few places available in the dormitories for students with disabilities.
