Overview

The student dorms Campus I - IV are located in the west of Freiburg, on the campus of the technical faculty of the University. The train line "Breisgau S-Bahn" stops directly on campus and takes only three minutes to get to the main train station in Freiburg. By bike, it takes around 20 minutes to get into the city centre. Around 500 students live here in single apartments and flat-sharing communities. Eight apartments are equipped for students with different types of disabilities.

Rent deposit
At the beginning of the tenancy, a deposit of € 500.00 for single rooms or € 600.00 for flats and € 700.00 for flats is due, which will be returned after moving out, provided there are no complaints about the room. The deposit will be refunded approx. 4 weeks after the end of the contract.

Duration of housing
In order to allow as many students as possible to live in a dormitory, the rental contract period is limited to six semesters.

In special and justified cases, it is possible to extend the rental contract for up to eight more semesters.
