This is my aim in Germany: I came to Germany not just for a degree, but for a mindset shift. My goal is to understand Artificial Intelligence in a way that goes beyond classroom theory — I want to apply it to real-world problems, and maybe even create something that makes everyday life a little smarter. Studying abroad, for me, is also about growing up, thinking independently, and becoming someone who’s ready for both challenges and chances — in tech and in life.
I have been writing for the blog since: May 2025
My hobbies and interests: I’m into a little bit of everything — playing basketball (a recent obsession), capturing everyday moments through my phone lens, exploring unknown corners of cities, and experimenting with food I can barely pronounce. I enjoy writing down thoughts that make sense only at midnight, and sometimes I treat a walk with music like a full-on therapy session. Life abroad is a rollercoaster, and I like turning those ups and downs into stories worth sharing.
Hi, I’m Tannu — a student from India chasing big dreams in a small Bavarian town. I’m currently studying Applied Artificial Intelligence at TH Rosenheim, and every single day here feels like a mix of excitement, challenge, and growth.
Coming to Germany wasn’t just a change of country — it was a change of life. I come from a background where even getting an education meant fighting against odds. From arranging finances through loans to adjusting in a completely new environment, this journey has taught me more than any textbook ever could.
To support myself, I work part-time while studying full-time. It’s not always easy — juggling deadlines, jobs, homesickness, and language struggles — but it’s real. And it’s worth it.
This blog is my way of reaching out to students like me — those who are dreaming, doubting, or daring to study abroad. I want to share not just the pretty pictures of Europe, but the behind-the-scenes reality too: from budgeting hacks and grocery struggles to making friends, learning German, and even finding joy in laundry days!
Whether you’re still planning your journey or already living it, I hope my stories help you feel a little more seen, a little more prepared — and a lot more hopeful.
