We’re looking for creative international students living in Germany to be Ambassadors!

Applications open until May 31, 2026.

We need 3 things from you: 1.Photo 2.Video 3. Completed application form.

Be a part of „Study in Germany – Land of Ideas“!

Have you come to Germany from abroad to study? Do you have experience creating videos and content and would like to regularly contribute content to our social media channels? Then apply now! This is your chance to share your experiences with other international students and to showcase what Germany has to offer as a place of study.

Why you should apply:

Be part of an international campaign! Reach a huge global audience as an official ambassador for ‘Study in Germany’. Your story could inspire students from around the world!
Take part in exciting video and photo shoots! Get creative and contribute your own experiences to the campaign.
Receive invaluable coaching! We’ll support you with training and tips to make your content even better.
Grow your network! Be part of an amazing team and connect with international students from all over the world.

Your profile:

You’re an international student enrolled at a German university.
You live in Germany and are officially registered here.
You are allowed to do freelance work.
You want to share your experiences and show others why Germany is a great place to study.
You’d like to create (video) content regularly and to support us as an ambassador for one year.
You’re available to attend a preparation workshop and to take part in regular video calls and in-person meetups with us and the other ambassadors.

Attention STEM students!

Students from STEM fields are especially encouraged to apply – help us showcase the exciting world of studying science, technology, engineering and mathematics in Germany!

How to apply:

1. Use the link in the to upload a photo of yourself.
2. Record a short, social media-friendly video in which you tell us:
  - your name,
  - where you’re from and how long you’ve been in Germany,
  - what you’re studying and at which university,
  - why you chose to study in Germany.
  - As a first little challenge: a) show or tell us that you live and study in Germany without actually saying it OR b) share the funniest culture shock you experienced in Germany!
  Your video should be no longer than 1 minute.

We’ll get back to you once we’ve reviewed all of the applications.

If you’re selected, you’ll be invited to take part in a workshop to prepare you for your role as an ambassador. During the workshop, you’ll get to meet your fellow ambassadors, receive training as a ‘Study in Germany’ content creator and start producing your first content.
